I was responsible for modelling and texturing the “Masterpiece” C7E skin for the Grey Fox bundle in the Y11S1 [Redacted] event, created in collaboration with Konami for Metal Gear Solid.
This design focused heavily on integrating weapon transformations for both inspect and reload states. The core concept draws inspiration from Grey Fox’s arm-mounted weapon, translating that mechanical identity into the rifle form, while also incorporating a housing element for his high-frequency blade within the weapon itself. For the inspect animation, the final direction was inspired by the series’ training missions.
Working on this project was an incredible opportunity to pay tribute to such an iconic IP, and to reinterpret its visual language within a new context.
